Crying it Out

We had put him on the couch- he doesn't always remember how to get off- and he fell asleep after a couple of minutes of crying.

First 4 Wheeler Ride

Matix was napping, Krew was driving his 4-Wheeler and Nixon was crawling around ... so I thought. I had the front door propped open while I was unloading groceries in & out of the house. Then I panicked. Where was Nixon?! I run outside (just a Nate was pulling up- perfect timing) only to see Krew driving up the street with Nix on the ride. No complaints from Nixon- he was loving it.

Ready for Nursery

Once babies are mobile it's hard to sit in church with them!
So the 18 month nursery rule should be lowered!

I went to Brio with Nate's family and the waiter gave Nixon some bread dough to play with.

Golf Party

Krew was invited to a friend's golf themed birthday party. It was adorable...

Triathlon Jail

I brought our 'Pack and Play' to the triathlon to contain my boy, and it was awesome! They were entertained with toys and food. I did not lose anyone during this race.

Tuesday Night

We're off to T-Ball! I have so much catching up to do from trips and chaos. I will get updating soon.

District Shopping

I took my boys to The District the other day to get some window shopping in. They were pretty well behaved!

Nixon was entertained with water in the tray of his stroller. He has such a goofy smile- He usually clenches his gums and closes his eyes.

All the shopping and running around wore my three monkies out!

RAGE Triathlon

Nate and our friend, Jeremy did the RAGE triathlon, sprint distance, on Saturday out at Lake Mead.

Nate recruited Jeremy the night before to be his race buddy. They had fun and did well- just over 2 hours.

Expensive Kids

When I was told kids were expensive I thought of the typical necessities like diapers, clothes and food. I am starting think that is not what expensive means especially with boys.

Expensive = paying to replace damaged items

This morning I ran to blockbuster to rent Juno before everyone else. I had a couple of movies to return. One being the boys' movie choice. The problem was they got the cover out of the movie box and ripped it up. For fun I guess! The store manager told me he couldn't rent the movie without a cover. Lucky us- we bought a stupid blockbuster exclusive movie for $20 and rented Juno. I got the short end of this deal. Small charge, but this is not the first damaged item to replace nor will it ever end!

Red Rock Hike

Last week I joined some friends at Red Rock for a hike. . .

All the boys had a great time. Although, I was unaware that there was a waterfall at the end of the hike. My boys were excited about this discovery!

Matix was trying to follow Krew and cross the pond- the water was freezing- and he missed a step!

Both the boys ended up shirtless for the hike back.

Tunnel of Fun!

Nixon is such a crawler. I decided to set up our tunnel and see if he would crawl through it, and he did. He thought it was the coolest thing!

They played against BYU. What a good season.

Puppy Love

The boys and I were at Gymboree looking around when I saw this hat. Nixon looked cute in it- I wish I would have seen it earlier this winter.

My aunt Becky and I have had three of our kids almost together (Becky has 5 total). It has been fun for our kids to be so close in age. Nixon is 8 weeks older than Benjamin, but Benjamin has caught up in weight! He is such a cutie!
