The sign says the same on the other side too and this yellow car does not look like a cop to me- this is one parking spot I would not leave my car. However, I don't know if the sign is legally binding. It does not say that you could be fined so maybe it's just a courtesy sign. Still I would park elsewhere.

Horsing Around
Little Nixon found a new love- a fuzzy rocking horse. I put him down on the ground to get some other toys for my boys and he noticed the horse and loved it. When you push the horses' ears it sounds like galloping and neighing. Nixon was very entertained.

More Pain for Matix
Last week Matix bit through his lip when Nate was getting him out of the car. He accidentally bumped his chin and one of his bottom teeth went through. It is hardly noticeable on the front of his chin- only a pin size dot- but on the inside of his mouth it was really sore for a couple of days! I am so lucky to have boys. I really do enjoy them; however, they do have a lot of cuts and bruises. And I know that this is probably not even the beginning of what's to come with three.

What?!
I wasn't in the market for a thief, but this car sure did perk my interest. I was nervous thou taking a picture because I didn't know if they were in the market for a victim. Turns out curiosity got the best of me. The website is advertising a book about a man who spent time- not a man for hire! Good thing- I was wondering where those mattress came from. Ha, ha.

Camera Magic
Late last night- like midnight!- the boys and I had some fun. I decided to set the camera on a timer. They thought it was magic and they had a blast! We would push the button, watch the light flashing, smile and then run to the camera to see how it turned out. Some came out better than others but the boys were giggling so hard and this morning Krew was telling his friend about "Camera Magic."
Paint Drama
I have wanted to change our wall color. Three trips to the store plus a stop at my aunt's to grab her color and I still have not a clue what color I want! There are 11 colors on this wall, some blend in pretty well. But I wanted a new look. With paint guys showing up on Monday I might just go for a fresh coat of the old color. At least I know how it looks in my house. I don't want to get a color up in the whole house and think "not quite what I was thinking!" Krew was funny when I was painting these. He said, "Um, mom, I think that that looks silly. You should just paint it one color not lots."

123 Like a Bird I Sing
After hours and years of the boys being raised by me and spending most of the day with me they still learn things on their own that I did not teach them. The boys and I listen to a lot of music during the day- classical, kids, holiday, alternative, contemporary . . . never country. We listen to country when we are in the car with Nate. However, during that limited amount of time my boys have picked up on country! Tim McGraw's "Last Dollar" is their favorite song that they sing.
1-2-3 Like a bird I sing
Cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings
I’m so glad you’re here today
Cause tomorrow I might have to go and fly away
Hey! . . .
Britt's Big Happy Family
Isn't it crazy how life just keeps going? People get older and families grow! This is my wonderful family. My parents moved to an awesome ranch in Vegas with tons of animals (horses, rabbits, dogs, snakes, goats, sugar gliders... I may have forgotten some). My boys LOVE Mimi's and Papa's house so much. They would rather live there. Krew has asked me if Mimi could be his mom instead of mine.
Everyone is still living at home except us, but I wouldn't object to moving back. We go over often enough. I asked my mom earlier this week if I could have a bedroom at her house- her beds are super comfortable and I have 5 babysitter sisters. Families are great! I am so glad to be 5 minutes from mine- especially on the days I am hanging onto my sanity.

Dry Ice Fun
So Nate came up with this entertaining idea- playing with dry ice! The boys loved it and thought that the smoke way very fun. It filled the family room and also helped cool the house. I think that we bought about 20 lbs. of it- just to play with. It was only like $5. We put it in a bucket with warm water and presto! smoke-and cheap entertainment for the night.

Genes
It's so funny to see what traits for each side of the family get passed onto your kids! Both of my older boys have dipples in their chins. And despite the fact that Nate and I have brown eyes, all of our children have blue. Our most recent baby looks like he might be a red head! I has very fair skin compared to my other babies and in the sunlight his hair looks red. All my red headed dad said was "about time!"

Matix's First Check up
Matix had his first dental check up yesterday! He did so well with the dentist- I was not expecting such co operation. He has 18 teeth- two more top molars to come in.
Krew came with us too because buster had cavities he had to get taken care of! He was numb on his left side for a couple of hours afterward. Right after we left the dentist he tried to drink a Capri sun and it was funny. He could suck the juice out of the straw, but then he could not keep the juice in his mouth to swallow it, so he would accidentally spit a stream of juice out. He was frustrated and just gave the juice to Matix and told him to keep it. We went and got him a smoothie that he could eat with a spoon. That was much easier for him. He was very excited and amazed when the medicine wore off and he had movement back.

Our Boating Weekend
This past weekend we went to Temple Bar and camped (cheating- motor home camping) with 2 1/2 other couples - Jason & Sabrina, Kevin & Stephanie and Clay. Krew and Matix had so much fun.
Our boys had fun in the water. This tube is awesome! It is very hard to get tipped over.
We had three of the husbands in there wrestling to get each other out- PLUS the driver trying really hard to get the rider out.
Nate's wakeboarding passion.
